"Now you are the body of Christ,

and members individually."

I Corinthians 12:27
Living our faith in community necessarily implies fellowship as the Body of Christ and thus, at Hutterthal Mennonite Church, we hold fellowship to be central to our life and faith. Therefore, we are intentional in regard to gathering with one another not only in Sunday morning worship, but in our interactions with one another in community and in our interactions with those outside our family of faith. For, as Christian people, there is not a time when we are not representing Jesus Christ, and as members and friends of Hutterthal Mennonite Church, there is not a time when we are not representing the community of believers with whom we share in a ministry of mutual support, accountability and love.

Mentor-Mentee Program
We will not keep the Lord's teachings from our children, we will tell the next generation about the Lord's power and His great deeds and the wonderful things He has done.  - Psalm 78:4, NIV

The mentoring program at Hutterthal was launched in 1990 in an effort to extend an opportunity to the youth in selecting a special friend from the congregation to walk by their side during their high school years and beyond. Linking each interested young person with a selected adult from the congregation who is committed to providing friendship, support, and wise counsel as needed, is a powerful resource for ministry with our youth.  The Lord has truly blessed us with adults who are willing to give of themselves and help our young people grow in their faith and become all they can be. Hutterthal has a mentoring committee that coordinates the program and serves as a support resource system for mentors.
