There will be a prayer meeting this coming Wednesday, May 30 at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary. Please come and pray for our church, with our church.

We are having a noon meal following the VBS Program on Sunday, June 3rd. All are welcome to attend. There is a signup sheet in the foyer for fruit salads, cheesy hash browns and desserts. Anything tropical would be great! If you have any questions feel free to see Bekka.

CONNECTING TO THE COMMUNITY AND BEYOND

Rural Revival will hold its monthly meeting at 8 pm at the Freeman Public Library on Monday, May 28th. Come see what we’re all about!

The Freeman Network for Justice and Peace will be meeting Wednesday, May 30 12:00 pm in the Freeman Public Library meeting room.  Anyone is welcome to attend.

It is a privilege to have the Freeman Regional Health Services in our community serving our needs. Please help support the FRHS by donating during their Fund Drive to purchase new equipment for the hospital, nursing home and clinic. Please return your donation envelop to Twyla Hofer by June 10.

The 16th Annual Swan Lake Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 5K and Marathon Relay will be taking place on June 10th. We need around 150-200 volunteers to run aid stations, hand out medals, help with registration and many other tasks. HOST NEEDED: Freeman Academy is in search of a host home for the 2018-19 school year for a 27-year-old young man from Southern Zambia. Triverty Muchimba Moono is enrolled in MCC’s IVEP (International Visitor Exchange Program) and will be joining the FA faculty as a Teacher’s Aide.
